Playstation Home Hex Editor

Obvious Hacks these days would be merged hair with hats, or merged costumes with wardrobe items. However, these kind of mergings actually include hacking the PS3 and IP address (a violation of TOS).

With a Hex editor, is it possible to get the same results though? I know items are saved on a Sony server, but the save data is for your avatar customizations. From this, I know its possible to hex edit an avatar to make it have the appearance of merging without violating the TOS.

My problem is I dont know what lines to edit, or what file to edit (Getting used to using a Hex editor though but it doesnt display what thing is which specifically). Can anyone help me out? Tell me what lines and what file to edit?

Re: Playstation Home Hex Editor

You cannot change a single BIT without resigning the file, and there is nothing available to do that.  When the items are saved, they are signed, a signature based on the current overall condition of the file.  IF you were to hex edit, and change anything, the signature would no longer be valid.

Re: Playstation Home Hex Editor

I just learned that myself as well. Most unfortunate. Oh well. Thanks though.
