Can anyone recomend a torent client who offers anonymous file sharing? Or a service you can use to route the traffic
I've heard of SecureIX when doing a quick google search but looking for personal recomendations from anyone.
Cheers

There is no REAL thing as Anonymous file sharing. Your bandwidth goes through your ISP, and they know everything. The way ISPs work today, they are kind of like a proxy. When I had Comcast installed? I went to use my PS3, adn I got a screen from comcast that the device was unsupported by Comcast. You are going through a system, not just an open door to the internet. That WARNING did not come from the cable modem, it came directly from the Comcast servers. THEY know everything you do now. So, that bounce back came from them... They have computers that monitor your open connections and bandwidth.
If you have too many INCOMING connections, your IP is flagged for review. You only need to EDIT your Torrent client MANUALLY for global and incoming connections to your PC. I set Global to 80, and incoming to 40. If you do not set this, you can get hundreds of connections, and thie does not go unnoticed. All that does us limit the PEERS that you connect to, and how many can connect to you.
People are getting caught every day for file sharing, because they are greedy, and don't know how to keep under the radar. I talked to a Comcast rep, he told me what they look for. I was told Iw as ok, they don't look unless the bandwidth is abnormally high.
What is abnormally high? That's tough, because just about everything you buy now, connects to the internet. Phones, PCS, Game Consoles, BR-D players, TiVos, Sat receivers, cable boxes... Then your software running all the time like on-line backup services, and what not.
The look at the CONNECTIONS to your IP address. If they see they are too high, then they see what's going on, to be sure you are not running a web-site on your PC. Then they look at the places where these IP addresses are connected from... Not good, so, you HAVE to limit the connections to your client.
I am not greedy, I will even set my download limit to 25K and let something download for 8 hours, while I sleep, who cares? Don't be greedy and NEEDY, and you will be fine.

Yeah, they're introducing that in like 2011, in the UK atleast. Well, i say they're but if they do it will come through the Conservatives and not Labour who proposed it.
I'd say use megaupload and such, that isn't file sharing ![]()

They are tring to introduce it in the uk but most ISP's have already told them they wont play ball, an ISP's job is to supply a service not police it.
