Ok, I'm going nuts over here.
Due to some issues with hardware limitations and my wallet's limitations I have to use windows 2000 OS on my DVR security system. However, graphic card driver is coming to bite me in my ass.
It's ATI Radeon 3200 and xp version won't work and generic catalyst drivers for radeon series won't work. If anyone can help me out on this, I would greatly appreciate it.

2000 has the same NT Kernel as XP, doesn't it? Thing is, 2000 is picky, though the drives would work if they could get installed. You can install 2000 and XP drivers, some, with NT Server, the Kernel is basically the same. There is not much difference between Win 2000 and Windows XP... Maybe modify the .INF

Will try both today.
Powerslave, how would I modify the info file? to what?

The info file contains the header and all that. I think somewhere in there, tells the O/S what O/S is it for. Each Version of an O/S has a code-name. Not sure, but look at a Win2000 driver .inf file, and look at the header and see what it has, and compare it to the WinXP header in its .INF file. WinXP allows you fo install drivers from 98, se and ME, bur warns you they are not digitally signed for XP, and do you want to install anyway.
There has to be a way in 2000, to do it, because 2000 and XP are pretty damn close as far as the O/S us concerned.
