PS3-Hacks.com / Analog Stick Rubbers

anyone come across this problem with the sixaxis analog sticks rubbers it has happed to 2 of my controllers. the rubber tears around the edge of the stick. probably cuz the plastic nub underneath the rubber is so sharp.
is it a flaw with the controllers or is it from over use or what. i never came across this problem with the ps1 or ps2 conrollers.
does anyone know where i can buy replacement rubbers or if u even can get them. or how to fix.
this is really pissing me off had to buy a new vibration controller which cost me 60euro cuz they don't sell the ones without the vib anymore just so i can play fifa. and will probably have to buy another one in another 6 months when it happens to this one.

never seen it. i dbout u can get a replacement rubber part but im sure you could get a whole new stick. try taking it apart and seeing if a stick from a ps2 controller will fit on. or if you have 2 broke controller jus throw the good nubs on 1 controller. kinda like this http://www.bizrate.com/playstation2acce … 00845.html

You probably can. Saw those for xbox 360 controllers.

took apart a ps2 controller and the anolog sticks are way different on them. they won't work on the ps3 version.

don't want to use 2 ps3 controllers 2 make 1 cuz then i would have to buy one for my brother so can all have a big game of fifa..

Yes the Stick Rubber, protects both you and the controller from UEDs (User End Diseases). Please practice SAFE game play, and use Stick Rubbers...
