Ethernet card

So I am wondering if anyone else has this problem.  Whenever I log onto the PSN, I usually have about 5 minutes or so and then I get an error saying there has been an error and I log out.  I can't log in after this, but if I log out of my account and log back in, it will connect.  When I get disconnected, it will keep downloading stuff like demos though.  Is this a problem with my ethernet adapter?  I have a 60 gig model that I bought a couple months after the launch if that matters.

Re: Ethernet card

I've had a couple errors today and yesterday but not something that has always been happening.

I do have a problem with the web browser ever since the last FW update. It crashes my system when it tries to load a page with too much going on or certain types of websites. On my pc the site pause my browser temporarily so it is certain sites (sometimes) but overall it's bug ridden now.

Re: Ethernet card

Maybe give us the error code you are getting? That way we can tell you what is wrong.

Re: Ethernet card

There is no error code LOL. It does run out of some kind of memory though hmm
"Not enough memory, one or more pages will have to be closed"
"the page was replaced with a blank page"
I just clear my cache and hope that fixes those issues though.

It just crashes, like really crashes. The system gets frozen and must be turn off. It comes back on just fine, other than the PS button on the controller not being able to turn it on right after. But the crash doesnt require a hard shut down, you just hold the area where a button should be, like normal (if you ever do it from the system), it beeps and then shuts down fine.

It crashing really irritates me though, maybe i should call it freezing? Before this update i was using the PS3s web browser all the time (N4G.com, rlslog and amazon mostly) but now i have to turn on my pc and use that (sucks sitting 2 feet from a 47in tv because im on a regular pc browser, the ps3s controller is wireless and it zooms into anything on the web flawlessly) or baby the ps3s browsers like by not going to any foreign sites. Which is something i do often while reading the source articles N4G.com gets there news from.

I'm sure they'll do something to fix it in the next update but it'd be nice to know of a way to fix it myself.

Re: Ethernet card

Ok it took me a few tries to get the code down since it only displays it for a couple seconds.  It just says an error has occured and you have been disconnected from the server.  The code that goes with it is 8002AD23.  Sometimes I can stay connected for 10-15 minutes and sometimes its less than a minute and I get booted off.
