if u want to use remote play on a pc or iphone or something like that then dont upgrade. the fp will be updated to tell u if sony blocks it in the next fw update so dont update till that article updates to tell u if its blocked or not

they wont change the aunthetication system they will add a new aunthetication system see the update is for psp &ps3 both of them have fw updates so they can add a new auntheticatin system anyway if there will be a blockade in this hack that would also be reversed i can see some kick ass progress no need to worry though as the new update is far away

That is correct, and the way to tell, is; after an update, if you have to re-authenticate the PSP, you know they changed it.
