From what I remember, only the original PSP batteries can be turned into pandora batteries with the software/hardware mod. You can use the phat PSP battery that has been pandorized in a slim PSP just have to hold it in place but the SLIM cannot be turned into pandora batteries.

Best place to look is the psp-hacks forum, they have this stuff stickied in their forums.

Re: Pandora battery questions

You can buy pandoras battery for pretty cheap from dealextreme, saves you the hassle of finding the correct battery and going through the software or hardware mod needed

Re: Pandora battery questions

The original slims can be soft-modded with the PB.  The newer slims (and the 3000 model) cannot be modded with this method, last time I heard.

It worked by changing the serial number on the itty-bitty onboard flash to 0xFFFFFFFF, which told the PSP to go into service mode, which is how Sony originally reloaded bricked PSPs.  The newer PSPs have some extra security feature to prevent this now.
