yeh it still vibrates with the same power no loss in that but it does drink a slight more power but its next to nothing.

well i had 5mm leds which i soldered to the terminals where the vibrators are like +ve to the _+ve of led and negative to -ve of led. also drilling 4 holes into the controller. i am considering to get a multicolour changing led and replacing that with the red one

how did u do it? just connect the led's to the motor power source

to make it easy just cut the wire on the motor which are connected to the mobo and then the red wire 2 positive of led and black wire to the negative of led and connect all of them. but if you want same power going to both of them i e more brightness then it has to be soldered.
