For like 78.00 shipped, I got this whole setup, and it's nice. T100 series (I got T102) Dock supports 2.5 and 3,5 drives, hot swappable with USB, eSATA ports. Front sports 2 2.0 USB ports, and all the card media readers, and the OTB button (One Touch Backup).
* Support SATA HDD up to 1000GB(1TB) .
* Connect 2.5" or 3.5" SATA Interface HDD to a PC with USB interface
* Transfer rate Approx. 480 MBps
* Complies with USB 2.0 standards
* Backwards compatible to USB 1.1 standards
* Easy to Install, Plug and Play
* External power adapter for SATA HDD.
* Optional : 2 USB HUB, Card Reader(support CF,MS,SD,XD,MMC ).
* Model T-102 eSATA interface
The 400GB drive? Was nicer than I thought, with features not in normal desktop drives.
WD400YR Caviar RE2 where RE is the acronym for RAID Edition:
* Raptor 7200 RPM series.
* MTBF rated at 1.2 million hours.
* Rotary Acceleration Feed Forward (RAFF): Optimizes operation and performance when the drives are
used in vibration-prone multi-drive systems such as rack-mounted servers.
* Time-limited error recovery (TLER), which prevents drive fallout caused by the extended hard drive
error-recovery processes common to desktop drives.
* 16 MB cache buffer
* Native command queuing (NCQ)
Using it as my Larger than 4GB BR-D movie files, with Tversity, so I am now officially at 1.26TB of total storage.

I got it at one of those DEAL OF THE DAY sites, and the package was the Dock w/Card Reader, and the 400Gb SATA drive. What is nice, is I got an 80GB Laptop drive, I can just pull the 400 and plop in the 80, on the fly. IT has the eSata port so if I ever want to convert my PS3 to a LARGE drive, well, CAN DO!
Best buy sells a Similar Dock for 51.97 and 57.97, the Spider dock, but doesn't have the extra options this one does. One of those are SATA I and the other is SATA II, the one that is 6.00 more...

What deal of the day site?
I love those site/ site deals
The only ones i know of:
Woot.com
Sellout.woot.com
Amazon.com Gold box Deals
So what's the name?
BTW, im getting a 1Tb external drive but it has the SATA connection as well as Usb, could it be connected as an internal storage for my PS3? (even though it'd be hanging out of it, probably It's pretty thin looking online anyway)

I have a tutorial here on making an external connection inside the PS3 for using it as a primary drive.

Is it through USB because i want it to be SATA cuz the transfer rates are faster than usb 2.0

Yeah it's through the SATA . It's the PS3 HDD but you use a 3.5" is it doesn't fit. USB 3.0 is going to be faster than eSATA I saw at CES09

that storage dock looks sweet i hope it works sweet also

Yeah, works great, and I can swap drives easily too.
The thing looks a little cheaply made, you'd have to see one to know what I mean. The ports it has, don't quite line up with the slots and all, but, I don't need it for the ports, though they are a plus. AND, for less than 80.00 including a 400GB drive, you can't beat it.
