Media Server

Okay now I have a media server hooked up for my PS3. So I was wondering, is there a program that would allow me to recieve those files to my labtop?

Like I send from computer to labtop the same way I would send from computer to ps3.
As of right now, I'm using SIMPLECENTER but if Nero or something around those lines would support this I'd switch.

I'm getting a labtop soon and I don't want to copy all my music because that would take forever so I think this would be an easy option.

Re: Media Server

When you bring up Windows EXPLORER on the PC that has the stuff you want to share; right click on the drive, or folder you want to share, and go to properties.  Then to the SHARING tab.  You can then setup, or share the item here...  Then, once shared, you use the Laptop to connect to it from your MY NETWORK PLACES, and MAP a network drive, to assign it a drive letter.  Then, it will be just like a HDD, so double clicking on a file will open it up, just as if it were on your PC.

If the PC name and folder show up in your network placed, RIGHT click on it, and you'll see the option to MAP NETWORK DRIVE. This works with wireless too, no problems.
