Yes, i formatted. I just cant seem to remove it I choose Everything for PS3 etc. I can also launch Linux, but it say's there are no bootfiles Anyway know how to remove this?

Did you format on the PS3 side of things or when you were on linux?

XMB, so on the Ps3 thing. I needed to format with linux ? Cause that sucks, i cannot boot it anymore

You'r SIG is 440 x 111, correct it, rules are rules, you agreed to them when you signed up. Just resize it to 400 x no more than 150.

depends on how ya look at if powerslave
400x150 = 60000 pixels
440x111 = 48850 pixels
so technically its smaller then max allowed size jk

cheese frog, did you hold the power button for a few seconds till you hear the beeps so it will have to go back to ps3 xmb then, format the linux part with the xmb's formatting utility. you cant format using the linux's format utility because of how the ps3 is setup.

Are you sure that is the the Other OS installer. Or is the full instillation still there.

Sorry guys, TOTALLY forgot about this. Well, the full installation sure isnt there. It cannot find the boot files, but if I start otherOS I do get a window (Linux window) wich says the boot files cannot be found. I did format using the OtherOS/XMB utility.

The OS installer is still there, but Xubuntu isn't, The Installer will go away the next time you install a new one.

Nope. I looked if i could install Xubuntu again, and I couldn't. The only partition it found was the flash memory.

Restart your ps3, booting from the Xubuntu CD

Open a terminal window and type "sudo su"

Now type "fdisk -l" to list available drives/partitions (note which device is your hard drive Example: /dev/sdb). Throughout this tutorial, replace all instances of x with your flash drive letter. For example, if your hard drive is sdb, replace x with b.

Type "umount /dev/sdx1"

"Type fdisk /dev/sdx"

type "p" to show the existing partition and "d" to delete it

type "p" again to show any remaining partitions (if partitions exist, repeat the previous step)

type "w" to write the partition table
