Ok, here we go.
Step 1 Make sure your PS3 and PC are connected to the same network.
Step 2 Turn on your PS3 and your computer should automatically detect it.
Step 3 Open Windows Media Player.

Step 4 If its not there right click at the top and click show classic menus.

Step 5 Click on Tools then Options.

Step 6 Under Tools now click on Library.

Step 7 Click on Configure Sharing.


The Unknown Device is usually your PS3.
Step 8 Allow Sharing with the unknown device.

Step 9 Go back to to Library.

Step 10 You can either share all files and folders or select the ones you want to share by clicking under monitor folders.

Step 11 Apply all the settings.
Step 12 Enjoy streaming on your PS3.
