so assuming it will be on multiple dvds for the 360 as i think this game will be larger than one DL dvd, if that it is true its coming to the 360

It was announced at Microsoft's E3 conference. The Square Enix CEO came out and said it himself.

Sony's E3 conference is tomorrow. They better announce something HUGE to make up for this.

FFXIII still a PS3 exclusive in Japan, but will be released in Europe and North America for the 360.

FFXIII Versus is still a PS3 Exclusive.

WHERE THE HELL are the PS3 turn based/rpg games? I see none worth going out and buying!

I do not agree with Square-enix's choices lately. Some of the games that they are putting to the 360, and some that are exclusive to 360. For example, the new Star Ocean is going to be exclusive to the 360, or at least timed.

With very little install base for the 360 in Japan it is going to sell like crap over there and it might sell decent in NA.

but the ps3 version will come out 1st in Japan
then they starts localization it
then it will come to

Honestly, with ONLY Final Fantasy XII coming to XBOX360, it feels like we have the greater advantage. Same as with GTA4 advantage that 360 had when they bought the downloadable content - which i never found really necessary (or did it even come out?) because GTA4 isn't even played anymore, for the most part.

With this, people MAY buy it for 360, but wont buy a 360 for it - unlike people who want VERSUS and XII for the PS3, will buy PS3 for the extra part of this game.

This is a perfect strategy made by microsoft. They seen the sells of PS3 with MGS4 and they don't wand this to hapen again with FFXIII.
Also keep in mind that MS needs 2 more years to abandone XBox360 and create a new console. So if they stay on top for 2 more years and they will have a huge amound of console users that they will not wand to upgrade a litle bit by getting a PS3.
So for me this is the best strategy MS have done for this generation of consoles even if FFXIII is going to be 6 DVDs( I hope they will not downgrade the game to fit in less... ) even if it is not released the have 2009 with this one.

Playstation 3 is turning into a FPS/racing sim console... There is hardly anything else to play on it. I want more RPG/Strategy/Adventure games. NCSoft need to pull their finger out and develop for the PS3...

Residen Evil 5 should be PS3 Exclusive since NO OTHER RESIDENT EVIL IS FOR XBOX. All Resident Evils are for PS and Nintendo products (Resident evil 4, resident evil remake, etc).

none are for XBOX and yet they are still getting number 5. Although, I dont resident evil 5 will be horror based but more action based which pisses me off.

My feelings exactly. I love the PS3, but I feel a bit shafted (its only used for watching movies now). If I had the money I think I would get a 360 (but the whole ROD thing bothers me). Seems 360 is the console for RPGs now.

You would think that Sony would know it was making a lot of money on RPGs, so to give up on them was a huge mistake.
