I just replaced my 20gb PS3 BT board with the 60gb version which includes WiFi.. hoping that this would be an easy way to play wirelessly. I got the board for $10 on ebay.. no real loss. As kind of expected it doesn't receive Wifi.. at least the 20gb firmware doesn't know to operate the WiFi chip. It still works perfectly as BT for controllers etc. Any ideas of what I could do to get the PS3 to acknowledge the Wifi chip??
Ive got pics if anyone is interested.. just tell me how to do it.

Try upgrading the firmware, and if that doesn't work, you will have to wait for either CFW or you could try calling Sony and telling them that your WiFi isn't working.
