what does it do when you try? Does the games show up on the XMB when you put it in?

it doesn't do a thing and it doesn't show on the xmb

soundz like your Bluray laser is out. Call Sony & if its under warrenty still then you'll get a replacement in about a week, just back up all your save games & if you bought stuff off PSN Store go into account management & unregister your account on your PS3 right before you send it to them

yeah theres a DVD & bluray lense from what i understand - could be wrong tho im not 100% sure of that

yeah & if you email they just tell you to call anywayz - have your SN # ready get it off back of PS3 cause they will ask for that

actually the broken ps3 is my bros in iraq so i can't even call i was just trying to find what was wrong with it for him
