i checked out the source of maxconsole's info and it seems pretty legit It did just come from a guy named Lestrade on the playstation.com forum, but he is a community leader so probably works for sony. If you read the forum maxconsole got the info from though it does say 2.4 is right away. Thursday is my guess then. All lestrade said was "It's pretty much all behind-the-scenes work and is, most definitely, not the 2.4 System Software update. Sorry, you need to wait a little longer for that one! :smileywink:"

ahh. im so confused haha.

I heard that all PS3 developers had been on holiday to htid in the sun and are now back recovering with hangovers. They will start working on the 2.4 firmware tommorow, so lets not expect it till late july early august.
