ps1 games wont play on cfw 3.90 m33-2
can someone help me, the ps1 games used to run on 3.71 m33 i upgraded and now they dont work.

They are in the /PSP/GAME/PS1game/eboot.pbp right?
I have 3.90 also and my PS1 games load fine. Been playing a little Final Fantasy 9 so I can confirm games working on that firmware.
maybe you should try going to 3.90 m33-3 http://www.dark-alex.org/index_psp.php.

try going to recovery and reformat your flash1 settings.
or just try reinstalling your firmware and see if that works

no all flash1 is config files such as wallpaper and network settings. There is also a config.se file that holds recovery settings. Some people have had weird problems and formatting flash1 has helped. It will not brick your PSP.

No hold R1 when you turn it on and then make sure it boots in 3.90 NOT 1.50

doubt that will work. That is for phat psp and homebrew that is 1.50 kernel only.

you have to make sure using the correct pops version..if multidisk eboot use 3.71 and higher...how to choose this..when start ps1 game, hold r1 and it will pop up.....
