Hi!
Now i have YDL 6.0 on my PS3 and i don't like it.
Why? - most apps work only in 32-bits.
The thing i need most is skype and other programms that run only in 32-bits but the YDL only supports 64-bits.
I know Gentoo uses 32 and 64 and i could use Gentoo, but... well this is my last chance.
Is there any other linux that is recommended on PS3 with 32 bits?
(Not slow, easy to use(maybe not) etc.)

It may look like YDL supports 64 bit but infact it weill support 32 bit.
I have discussed Skype in other forums and it seems that there is no PPC version out for it.
Every Linux setup is going to be slow on the ps3 because of restricted access to the Nvidia RSX video card. You can try the XFCE windows manager(assuming you have added the 3rd party repos) which is a lightweight windows manager that leaves a small memory footprint. You can add it through the add/remove software GUI.

I'm a little confused. Because the PS3 has a PPC core, is it 32bit or 64bit or something different. I understand 32bit and 64bit processors but I'm unclear on PPC.
EDIT: still don't understand that^ but I think your problem would be that you're looking for programs that run on x86 or x64 processors and the PS3 has a PPC processor. Kinda like the browser doesn't have flash or Java because there aren't PPC versions.
But now I have a question. Are PPC processors >64bits?
EDIT AGAIN:Here is what the PowerPC wikipedia article has to say about YDL.
Yellow Dog Linux, 32-bit native, 64-bit in beta
There you go. It is 32bit it's just the program you want doesn't have a PPC version.
