I have done everything there for posadis but when i log onto the playstation store on my ps3 i always get (error occured while resolving the name with the server.(80028EA5).

mmm, this seems to have stopped working for me can anyone help?

I uninstalled and reinstalled posadis, followed the tutorial and went to set my settings on the PS3. Entered everything correctly and it successfully obtains the IP address but fails trying to find an internet connection with this message >

The connection to the server timed out (80710092)

I can browse the internet on my PS3 fine, but can't access the PS store or play online.

Please can someone try and help cos I wanna play RFOM online again.

OK just got my ps3 today (1.51) and in Australia. Is there server I need for here?

Also when i try with the US server I get all the way to the end. I am configuring the DNS as my PC's ISP address (do I use prim and secondary DNS?) but when it tests the connection it fails.

Any ideas on both these?

EDIT : OK got the DNS part working but the server obviously doesnt like me as I get the message

an error occured while resolving the name with the server.

Just to make you aware I still have registered on playstation@network as cant work out how at this time without updating.

Transfer speed is really slow and I'm using a wired connection. I had great speeds with downloading directly off the PSN, but now I'm downloading off my PC for games from other regions.

okay i cant seem to save my config file it doesnt work then after i exit and try again it one even let me click on the save thing! Help!!

Hello all

Thanks for this great tutorial, although i had the same problems like most people here.
I also got the DNS error on the ps3 but finally when i changed it from fuk01.... to feu01.ps3.update.playstation.net. (i'm from the netherlands), it worked
played for the first time online today , still got to find out how the playstation shop works, but anyhow it's an good start

Hey,
I came across this thread, and was suddenly interested so i proceeded the step guide, which was really informative "thumbs up"

However, i got up to this part :

Step 15: GO TO Start>Run>TYPE:"services.msc" With no quotations! (Sorry some people just don't understand the quotations are emphasis and are saying look here!
Step 16: Scroll down to you find Posidas and turn it on!

And little be known, it's not there!!

When i clicked "start posadis" it gave me alot of them codes an s***, then this happened!

help ...

I see not many ppl have posted this year, so also is this hack still available?
