Are there any possible
Linux apps that allow me to use my PS3 controller? I don't currently have a USB keyboard.

Yes, Gentoo, has support of the PS3 controller, very nice for emulators. As for Programs that allow you in other versions of Linux I'm not sure of.

which Emulators have you tried on gentoo that work ok?
