PS3-Hacks.com / New to the ps3 ownership

I'd just like to know if there is any particular thing I shoudn't do, ie. Update to a certain version and also what kind of things would I be able to do with the ps3 that normally people woudn't? just planning ahead so I dont mess something up :3 I am already planning on updating the hd to a 160hd I bought.

Check the "INFO, Hacks & Exploits" thing near "Logout", yes this blinking one.
Remember that the drive has to be 2,5" otherwise it won't fit.

there are lots of things you can do with the ps3 that normal people like us wouldn't.
just use your imagination.....

atm there isn't really anything, you install linux on it but that isnt a 'hack' as you use sonys other os installer, they want you to do it.

If you mean normal people wouldn't do, so your a tad weird you could destroy your ps3 and turn it into a grill like this

true but the silver strip would make the grill look better but i doubt that the grill was once actually a ps3.

it wasent, it was sold way back wen the first ps3 specs were out (befor release) Its was a parody of its size

im pretty sure it was a real US ps3 20 gig hollowed out and had a hot plate put inside.
