Make sure your signed into the psn on your ps3 as well, so when you sign onto your psp, they can connect to each other.

Sony's online manuals say that for the first connection you need to connect via usb cable first. Once it has been set up via usb it should be fine. I've not got that far as I have trouble installing devhook so that I can use it.

Devhook is the thing of the past, Use Dark_AleX's Custom firmware. Its what Im using now and I gotta say its one of the best things that happened to my PSP

It depends on the FW versions. If you PS3 is 1.90+ you need 3.52+ on your PSP. By far, the best CFW is 3.52 M33
