hey all, im are teh noob with forums. but... i just had an idea about playing dj max portable 2 on my ps3 whenever i wanted. and i then thought about how (darkalex?) someone mixed the psp 1.5 and 3.4 fw into an oe. how about mixing the ps3 with psp's fw, or having some kind of devhook to load the psp fw so you could play psp games from your memstick on your ps3. this would be awesome, right? if there is another conversation about this somewhere else please flame away, but also be kind enough to point me in the right direction. *i dont have the search option on my os*
oh, and also i just want to thank the creators, mods, and users of this site and the psp-hacks site for all the help and fun i've had with my stuffz.

that would be koo but i doubt that would happen. i do have a program that i have yet to try that shows PSP screen on PC through USB

well ps3 and psp look the same visual wise, but are totaly different, so codeing a hybrid like a psp oe firmware would be hard. but maybe a bootable other os psp xmb would be cool, as i dont think you would need the rsx to play a psp game.

here's hoping for these possibilities... *eats some Jordan Almonds*

If it is possible in the future, it may also be able to upscale the PSP graphical abilities, too.
We can always hope. ![]()

you cant upgrade the graphics, just the resolution.

hopefully after the ps3 iso loader is released, someone will maake a psp loader that is compatible with the ps3 as well.
I dont care if Sony or a hacker makes it possible but I want to be able to play my UMDs on my tv through the psp and ps3, i thought they were working on that from the beginning. Some kind of thing that transmits the psp screen to the ps3.

You can always install Linux onto your PS3. Then Download "RemoteJoy" onto it. And from there just connect your PSP to your PS3 and view whatevers on your PSP on your TV via PS3(Linux). Just a thought.

If the PS3 ISO launcher happens, heck why not a PSP ISO Launcher. But we better focus on PS3 ISO Loading first.

I would prefer HDD LOADER, I think we're going in the wrong direction with a slow, flawed, ISO loader... Not to mention the file system restriction...

ya maybe but still .iso is a good start you now...

At the mo ps2 has better games so I do not mind every way if they make a ps2 or ps3 loader but I have a moded ps2 for playing backups so A ps3 loader\HDD loader would be more usefully.

But when you mean HDD loader you mean loading from blu-ray disks right?

Loading the entire file and folder structure to the HDD like with the PS2s HDD Loader... ISOs would be too big for the file system as ONE file, so it will have to be the files and folders dumped to a game folder. This is how XBOX does their games, no ISO loader was ever made for XB1. The HALO series for XB1 ISOs are both over 4GiB. HDD Loading is fast, and efficient...
