Would this work for making homebrew

Hey all, I've had an odd but pretty funky idea in my head about all this homebrew stuff...
I was thinking that MAYBE this OtherOS thing could be a massive break-thru for the homebrew scene!!
Basicly put the emus on a mem stick or sumthin and INSTALL them via the 'OtherOS' installer thingy thats built on the PS3...

sorry if i'm not making any sence...3 hours sleep... not recomended yikes

Im sure the OtherOS is going to become the ISO Loader/Homebrew loader.

Re: Would this work for making homebrew

theres already homebrew through the other os wink and the only problem i bet paradox and other developers are having with the iso loader, is finding a way to get back to the xmb at a load point so it will execute to the game, or getting access to the rsx through other os.

Re: Would this work for making homebrew

well, you can get the ps3 linux installer from here, or playstation.com, and just get a PPC linux, yellow dog, and a few other big ones seems to be the best, look around the site here, we have many links to linux distros in the forums.

Okay, thanks. The OtherOS is useful then.

Well I think that Yellow Dog Linux is signed by Sony, so no.
