the only full game known to be working is Gripshift. blast factor or flow won't work. nobody can help u now

I have a Hong Kong PS3 n i have a problem.........
PS3 Instructions
5. Turn on your PS3
6. Go to settings then down to network settings
7. Go to Internet Connection Settings, pick yes when asked if you want to continue
8. Pick if you are wired or wireless, press right
9. Pick custom Address Settings, press right
10. Auto-Detect the operation mode of the network device, press right
11. Ip Address Setting pick Auto.
12.Pick auto MTU, press right
13. Pick Proxy Use, press right
^^^^^^^^^^^14. Enter the IP address of your computer (IP Address from step 4)<<<<<<<< I DONT HAVE THIS MENU ON MY PS3 INTERNET CONNECTION SETTING WHY IS THAT????????????>>>>>>>>>>>>
15. Pick UpNp enabled (doesn't matter much)
16. Confirm settings
17. Don't test, and go back to the normal PS3 Menu (aka XMB)

HELP ME ANYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cant get onto the store on my laptop doing everything as stated step for step, just says an unexpected error has occured please try again later, its done this for 8 days now, any ideas?

Another thing, just to clear it up even though its been said like 5 or 6 times.
The only games working due to a content/account lock is GRIPSHIFT & SUDOKU EASY PACK

Is there any list of content working with this method? I know GripShift and Go! Sudoku do, but does any other work? Also, does this work in any firmware?

ok seems like nobody has helped u out yet. so here i go. first of all, *SLAP!*, what do u mean u don't have that menu?? it's there!

at Proxy Use, choose enable. when u proceed, u'll see a slot for u to key in an ip address and a slot of the port u want to use, which is 8080. Just key ur pc's ip address into that first slot and continue!

it's so simple!

All free demos work that i know of the only payed games that work are GripShift and Go! Sudoku (hard pack or what ever it is)...

And which ones are the demos? I want to download everything now so I can install them when I buy my PS3 (23 March).

Oh, and it's possible to have accounts in other regions' PlayStation Stores, isn't it? I have an European account, but I want to have accounts in all the other regions.

I have a UK account for when its released here and a US account so I can get stuff now. Just use a seperate username/password for the different accounts.

I didnt know any addresses in the US at first (zip code etc) so just got one off google and it worked a treat Think its registered to some eye clinic or something in florida

I made on UK account on my PC, tried to log in with it on the PS3 and it said I can not log on until it is released in my region.

So I created another email address with hotmail, then created a new US account on the PS3. You just need a genuine US address and Zip code for it to work. I just searched google for a address in Florida, entered this on the PS3 account information and it got accepted. I can not buy anything from the store though as I do not have a US credit card etc. Not that there is much worth buying.

omg here i go again. if i'm not mistaken, the post i made earlier was b4 the firmware 1.54 was introduced. now, u are needed to bypass this firmware check b4 u can access the store. in order for this to work, u need to be at least version 1.50 and above.

on and run the ps3 proxy, (i prefer the chinese version, bcos it shows u what the ps3 is looking for.) enable proxy use on ur ps3, then try to sign in to ur PSN. What u will get is an error msg on ur ps3 (like u mentioned) and a url on ur ps3 proxy app. it is looking for a txt file. u need to download the corresponding txt file and redirect the ps3 proxy app to this file. Please note the server in which the txt file is suppose to be located. For US ps3s, download the US server's txt file. For more info on this and to download the file, go to www.ps3news.com

once u've downloaded the correct txt file and set it to be redirected to, sign in the PSN again and u should be able to log in.

what is the point of all this, so you can play ps3 games on pc? so you can download them on ur pc? i dont quite get it id rather do this on my ps3. or is mostly proof on concept

^^^ It so that you can download games on your pc then use a program to make a proxy so that the game on your pc is sent to your ps3 so that it can be install on your ps3. You have to use the bypass firmware trick if you dont all ready have the latest firmware. The main point init is that you dont have to pay for games that cost money to download such as GRIPSHIFT. Not all games that you have to pay for work but people are looking into.
