No, there are too many discussions on CFW, and why NOW, it can't be done yet.  Omnikron and I have FULLY stated what's going on with the PS3, and why it is not hacked AT ALL.  We do not need another thread, and this one may be closed soon.  When there is SOMETHING worth talking about, it WILL be posted.  We have said that many times...

If you read anything in the MAIN MENU forum, then you would, or SHOULD not have started a thread on CUSTOM FIRMWARE...

It's ok to HOPE, but you are aware that people have been HOPING for THREE YEARS?  Just recently, the JTAG port was found on the BluRay drive.   YOU also need to keep up with current events.  The XBOX360 has not been hacked like people want, it's a DVD drive hack.  The hack is like putting a rocket on an arrow to make it go further, it's archaic.  There is no custom firmware for the CONSOLE, just the drive.  THAT was because M$ made the HUGE mistake, AGAIN, using a plain old modified DVD drive for it's optics.   The PS3s BR-D is 110% proprietary!  They have not found a falt anywhere in this system that will get backups playing.

Also, just in case?  The PSP and PS3 are no where NEAR the same, they LOOK it from the XMB, but are nothing alike, so PSP mentality can't be used with the PS3 hacking. 

FORGET about ISO loading too, you can read why.

FORGET about HDD loading right now, because there are no hacks.

Unless you are a designer of the PS3, you won't have anything to offer that has not been hashed over and over many times.

This is mere fact, not a put-down, or rip on anyone, it's just the facts. 

You should not start a thread like this, unless you at least discovered how to hack the iPOD...  That means; not followed directions on iPOD hacking, you actually discovered it...
