Like the subject stated,
UP to what size of Mem stick can PSP take?

as big as they will make them. if ur getting a big one tho(16gb+) i suggest a photofast cr-5400 (its a dual microsd to ms converter) and 2x 16gb or 8gb micro sd's. its the cheapist way to get 16-32gb on ur psp. http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.16489
i have a cr-3100 and 2 16gb SD's and love it

I think it is 4GB max with original firmwares below 5.01 (5.0 had an error issue). I think 8GB ones work for 5.01 firmwares and up.

Is it just me or is 8gb stick more slower then 4gb?

It's authentic. I verified it with sandisk rep in convention in Orlando.
How is your sd card working out for you?
any notice of speed difference? does it show up 16gb all together?

im loving my sd cards. i got 2x 16GB in it right now but the psp shows and uses 29GB. only speed problem there is is that it takes a extra second or 2 to load the xmb from a cold boot. as for read/write speed's compare ur current card to these using black speed (link in the link) http://www.psp-hacks.com/forums/f117/cr … s-t234571/ (im koukimonster there) and yes it shows the 2 cards as one
edit: also the quickist way to tell if ur card is fake is to hit triangle on it in the psp xmb then go to info and if it says any thing but supported beside magicgate then its fake. unless its one of these adapters

I see.
29gb because of byte, bit thing right? not because of problem of the adapter or problem of psp right?

i can vouch it handles 32GB on cfw and ofw. also with cfw the theoretical limit is 2TB

I thought I commented already, but... From what I read, OE firmware 2.81 increased it to 4GB. It's the custom firmware that allows a LOT more. Sony brought out a 16GB Duo Pro, so not sure on the OE firmware's limits, which is said to be NONE; who knows...

I have 16gb right now and works like a charm on both cfw and ofw.

I have three memory stick micro M2's, of which I only used one but I have the space if need be.
