If it still works, why replace the case?

At any rate, if you can FIND one on Ebay, then replace it.

See how easy?  Search EBAY for "PS3 CASE" then consoles link.  There are not many, and you may need to look at other areas, but THEY ARE THERE...

There are no CUSTOM cases yet that I found...

If I had a choice between 31.00 (+ Shipping) and $125? (what that Ebay case sold for)  They're getting the $31.00 + shipping, AND, they're paying for it.  Game Consoles are NOT, and I mean NOT a necessity OR requirement for the life or the well being of anyone (in fact, it makes kids WORSE), so, their habit, their pocket book...

Pretty big assumption there dude, i for one stopped my mom getting me a new PS3 because i knew i could fix it for the price of some heat sync.

All fine and dandy, but statistics don't lie (well, depends on the motive); kids on Video Games are failing or falling behind in school, because they are not studying, or doing homework (the first two main causes of bad grades).  They spend all their time on the game box.  Oh, I know, I had to SELL my kids XB360 (that I bought anyway) because of it.  Guess what?  Their grades went back up...  Sure, they went to their friends house to play, but, their FRIENDS can only take so much of that before telling them to GO THE FRAK HOME...  My nephew, same deal, he was fine till Daddy bought one of my 360s for him, then he failed two classes for not doing homework; he was too busy playing video games.  Well, that was taken off him, and he has to go to summer school this year.  Kid was fine till the game box was there...   Parents who buy and keep buying bad habit forming stuff, are themselves too lazy to keep after their kids; thus makes the kids TWICE as bad...  They use the devices as a babysitter, and that's THE WORST thing a parent can do...   Saying GO PLAY, meant go the hell outside and play, now it means plant your ass in front of the tube, on the game box...

I grew up on our versions of video games too, but I never let it get in the way of my schooling. Some Kids today just don't give a damn... 

Anyhow, back to the topic, the CASE on Ebay would have been my first choice.

Assumption that kids are lazy not about myself. But touche i know some people that don't do work because of their gaming addictions (?)

YOU took it to the profane level, with the "frak you" which is a direct attack on a user, grounds for at least a 2 week BAN, so if you want banned, you got it, just say the word, Mr. Statistic Kids Lazy.  Another user, a kid perhaps, replied, that he wasn't in that group.  Not you, you flew off the handle.  If a "generalization" hits you personally, then you have issues YOU need to deal with, or YOU have some guilt about something; so deal with that, then get back to me if you want banned for 2-weeks, OR PERMINENTLY, your choice, or NONE..  YOU are the one that has now elevated it to mud slinging, with profanity, which does show how uneducated you can be.

Not once have i used that kind of language before and i don't normally speak like that but i was expressing how strongly i felt about how you spoke in that post. But you are POWERSLAVE after all so do what you want cause who's going to stop you? You just mad it sound like i was part of the problem and failing school. Im sorry but after that i skipped your other post and maybe i shouldn't have and made me jump to conclusions. But maybe we should be CARFUL how we say things and how it MIGHT come across to others especially ones who may be UPSET. HMMMM?
