Hi to all

I'm a new user on this forum. I have checked a lot of topic already about unlocking the PS3,but I can't find the easy instructions.
I will receive my PS3 next week. What I want to do with it is to just unlock it so I can put some games on it. I did the same thing with my PSP so there should be a result for PS3 too.
If anybody can direct me to the right topic I will really appreciate it.

What are the disadvantages of unlocking the PS3? Will I loose Blue Ray?

Okay.To homebrew my PSP was really easy,but I can't understand how to do it with PS3.
Do I have to remove the HDD?
What software to use?
I did read the instructions with too much information,I get confused.
Can somebody just gave me like a steps what to do?
