ok the title says it all, im trying to rotate the output of the ps3 180 degrees, so its upside down and mirrored. I wanted to know if theres any way to edit the firmware to do this, any other method would be great as well. I know its a weird request, but i would appreciate any help.

Just plug the HDMI cable in upside down.

Some LCDs have a SERVICE MODE, that allows you to ROTATE the picture. If you can FIND it, then everything would be upside-down.
Other than that, naaa, you aren't getting the PS3 to OUTPUT like that...

yeah... mine doesn't, see the problem is I have a projector, but the lcd is rotated 180 degrees, it wasn't like that intentionally, i screwed up making it, and its not as simple as rotating it back, as it would need to be rebuilt completely

Doesn't your projector have a setting to flip it upside down like most?

The image is good enough for me (1024 x 768) it fills my basement wall and watching movies on it is enjoyable. I used a 15" lcd, i tried to keep the cost down as much as I could, it was less than $300 to build. I can rotate movies by using the computer, so thats all I've really done with it, but I'm still glad I built it, even if I did mess up lol
