Ladies and Germs.....

Due to few of my friends bugging me to get a Xbox360 so I can play COD4 with them. So after couple of years I finally did it.  The total cost came out to: $436

Friends let me borrow few games....

1.  I thought Xbox live was something out of this world but in fact it is garbage. I am a gamer and I like playing games. I don't like chitchatting(cursing) with bunch of little kids  who has yet to grow a pubic hair.
2. While setting it up, I found it horrible. It required more tweaking to get graphics right than the ps3.(side by side on the same TV-HDMI both ports, graphics looks better on PS3 for COD4)

My disappointments:
1. No rechargeable battery---cost extra.
2. The headphones is not bluetooth--independent type---->cost..
3. The attached headphone connects to the controller---->messy, tangles.
4. Rechargeable battery must use propriety charger---why can't it be standard USB to small input...I use my laptop for charging cell, ps3 controller, bluetooth an anything else.
5. No Digital sound input/output.
6. Controller...what is in side of it. A pound of lead?  And using the controller, it requires a more distance of a pull the trigger, increases time delay, reduces speed of game. I thought consoles took away the fun in game compared to PC gaming(pc gamer by heart) and xbox360 takes it to a different level.
7. Reading disk noise is a big turn off....can't use it to warm up the room in winter when the disk reading is annoying girlfriend.

My experiences playing COD4 on Xbox Live vs PSN.
PSN has a much older crowd, while XboxLive has bunch of kids. PSN COD4 Players are much harder and better, and tend to piss me off a lot. My accuracy is 18.48%, with 1.78 kill ratio, and I think I am 9523 in rank by kills(I am trying to beat Wickedlungs who has over 2 million kills, kidding!). While playing XboxLive, I can't believe that my accuracy is over 22%. Somehow it doesn't make sense. Remember the reason I got was because XBOX owners wanted to see how I did in COD4. Unfortunately I am doing better than them, although I only played it no more than 10 times.

My verdict....Xbox is for casual gamers. Its not for me. It might have its benefits and whatever it is that I haven't found it in it.  I haven't used Xbox360 after the first week. It just sits there next to the PS3.

Would never buy again. It was the biggest waste of money.
