Whoa, my memory of it's graphics were better than that. Used Dreamcast were $30 at GameXCrazy like 5 years ago, what with the price hike?
Seriously they're trying to make money on old hardware and don't give a crap if you buy a single game so i doubt they've stopped it's easy playback of burned games.

Wohoo! Good ole Dreamcast, these systems were awsome in their days. Graphics WERE better than the PS2 due to accelerator card but SONY fraked Sega up by advertising the PS2 a year before it was launched stealing all the attention. Shame it didn't work with the Xbox-360 ![]()

i know they have still been selling new dreamcasts in japan in some small stores. though i always assumed they where just extra stock that never got sold after the console died out and they where still on sell cuz no one wanted them. maybe i was wrong though maybe they still do make the system. but who really buys them?

Sega is done with consoles, they have just about retooled ALL their sites for software development instead. They do not have any MFR plants to startup console production. Since they dropped out with XB1 and PS2, they have WAY too much technology to beat now, and the cost to tool a factory would be great. This is because they would have to start over, and try, TRY, to develop the next generation console, which M$ is already designing (maybe $ony is too).

It's one of my favorite systems of all time. Shenmue, Jet Grind Radio, and nomad soul, and tokyo extreme racer where awesome. You can also run NetBSD on one.
