New custom build

Just recently built a new PC from scratch. Didn't want to spend too much money so didn't go beserk. Specs are below...

Intel Core 2 Duo 6420 at 2.13 GHz
ASRock G31M-S
2 x 2 GB PC2-6400 DDR2
250 GB SATA Hard Drive + 40 GB IDE Hard Drive
Dual-Layer DVD +/- RW Drive
Cheat case with 450W OEM PSU

Will be getting an ATI 3450 GPU soon and I may overclock the CPU to a slightly higher speed. The motherboard is nothing special for now as I will get one that supports DDR3 (and may as well support DDR2 as well) in maybe a year or so and at the same time I'll upgrade the CPU and RAM. Might get a better case at some point but for now it's just the GPU and maybe a branded PSU. Also need to replace the HDD because it has failed so I'll get a 500 GB one.

Hoping to get a new Bravia soon so will be hooking it up to that with HDMI.

Re: New custom build

I can overclock my GPU and RAM on it, but the valuse do not hold...  I run the tests, it says OK, they passed, then ACCEPT.  I accept, but they stay at 350/400...

Re: New custom build

lol, I don't wanna overclock everything as the value will go down and also can cause damage, more power consumption....sure you know it all. My PC runs great for what I need...just need the graphics card so that I can run Flight Simulator X on full spec lol.
