Yeah, however, the Kid's father just runs out and buys the kid another Xbox just like that.  Meanwhile, this kid is abusive towards his stuff.  The console is broke because he throws his controllers at it, and slaps or punches it (my kid said).  When he gets mad, he does that, or puts the disc in the case, then throws it across the room (he ruins games this way too). 

There is a piece of something rolling around inside the unit, and that don't happen unless it recieves some kind of shock....  So, his dad pays upwards of 500.00 for an Elite with an extended warranty, rather than $125.00 for a repair to M$, or 3-LOD it and send it back free.   He wanted $60.00 for the console with the HDD, no controller, no headset, or network cable, and a failing power supply. 

So, all he wanted was the money for THAT specific game I mentioned.  So, I was able to GET the game for 30.00 shipped from HALF.COM, from PA, so why pay 60.00 when I was getting him what he wanted?  So, after seeing what I was going to pay, he decided he wanted another 25.00 from me.  I said look dude, all you wanted was THAT game right?  So, what's the difference where it comes from, and what it cost me?  I said, I am also taking the chance of NOT getting it, or getting a piece of crap, and then I eat the 30.00, so I am the one taking all the risk up front.  If all works out, I get the console, you get the game, and that's the targeted end result anyway.   The console is basically useless anyway, but the 20GB HDD is worth 25.00 now...   He has some playable games on the HDD that will stay, plus stuff he wants game saves and some content moved to his Elite.  So, I will transfer them to a MEM card, then he can get his stuff, then bring the card back.

Sure, it was a deal if it all works out as planned...  That part also being able to 3-LOD it, and send it back.

Yeah, I'm too objective to talk shit. at the VERY least i would buy one for a good deal and use it for pirated games only, and I ALMOST did. There was a few arcades and 60Gb premiums at circuit city a while back that were $160 and $239 respectively. I wasn't sure if a HDD model was needed to play burned games so I passed it up, then came back the next day and only the premiums were left.


There's nothing wrong with 360 but the hardware and a free 3 year warranty is nothing to scoff at. Though it does only apply to a rrod failure. Anyway, i'd of taken this deal in a heartbeat, too. That kids dad needs to educate himself on shit like this cause saying money's not a problem yet he tried to get more money outta ya are conflicting arguments.

Those titles you mentioned were NEVER exclusives for any M$ console, and the SAME can be said that PS3 doesn't have the exclusives other people want, LIKE Halo and Gears.   The fact is now, some exclusives WENT to the XB360 platform due to the complexity of the PS3, so it doesn't have ALL the exclusives it used to...  Each console HAS to have its own exclusives, else there would be no console WAR...   If they both had the same games, ALL of them, there would be no reason to have one or the other, just the one with the better graphics and game play, and sorry to say, that IS XB360...
