well i finally got my xb1 back(long story where it was for 4 years). Anyway was wanting to soft mod it but i cant see to find any of the tools needed to to it.ive seen a few wed sites with tuts but with out the hddlock hddunlock and atapwd exe files im not getting anywhere, that and i dont really feel like going out and finding an action replay. Powerslave i was looking at your other forum for the xbox1 and had alot of nice info on it, but this particular post http://www.punbb-hosting.com/forums/xbo … .php?id=15 caught my eye. DO you still do softmodding for a fee?

#1, DO NOT mess with Lock/Unlock tools! If you unlock the drive with a Softmod, it WILL NOT boot ever again, unless you CHIP it!!! The original BIOS demands a locked drive, and that still boots FIRST, before the hacked bios loads into memory.

#2, Yes, I can softmod.

I have the original Splinter Cell, Linux Save, and SID4 installer.

Once it is softmodded, YOU can, with a V1.0 to V1.5 - Solder the write enable jumpers for the TSOP, then flash it with EvoX. THen, it is HARD modded, and you can upgrade the HDD with ease.

Softmodding takes about 7 minutes... HDD upgrade is MUCH longer, and more involved.

Well will not mess with those tools any time soon then. Yea I have a wd120 gig drive that I want to throw in there,and soldering wont be much of an issue either. Ill have to get back to you then when I could ship, the xb1 is a beast for weight . Or if you wouldn't mind sending me a tut and the files for your method I might be able to find some time in the future to get around to doing it, either or dosnt matter to me much. Thanks PS
