RESISTANCE 2
===========================
Resistance is the PERFECT way to take a game and make it better. The original was quite impressive but this one is just over the top. The graphics have been greatly improved the and the story is one of the best.
As before, you play Nathan Hale. This time you fight in the United States in various different locations (which is much better than the one general straight path from the last). Loads of new guns are out and it feels more the 1950's should be. You get that old classic (retro) music and it feels more of the time it should.
You also fight swarms (and I mean SWARMS) of enemies. When fighting the guys who run around, there are probably hundreds at a time. It's ever so intense.
The music is suspenseful and sounds amazing. Great visual on the screen at all times. (try not finding a space ship in the air hovering over top of you). The game is near perfect in every aspect. It's even hard! Most FPS's now are way too easy. This is atleast a challenge.
I would recommend to ALL PS3 owners.
My only downside of the game - I HATE the online. Boring, repetitive and it takes 30000 shots to kill 1 person.

i have to put this out there, i dislike the game due to the fact there's no real customizing of games like the first one had. i know u can customize some, but i'm a hardcore rfom1 player, and this game fell way short for me. it's a clone of cod series and killzone. at least the first game stood out on its own, but that's just my opinion.

I played and Finished #2, and it was fine.
To what customizations are you referring to? There were no customizations for campaign play on the first one, that I remember...
As far as CLONES? The reality is, every 1st person shooter is a clone, just different settings, people, weapons and theme. In addition to Turok for N64; Halo was the game that modeled all other FPS (and 007 GoldenEye, still has a high replay value; I just bought another N64 and this game YESTERDAY!)), and that all followed Halo; now have to compete with and try and be better than. Nothing is original with FPSs as far as that goes, which is WHY I can't play for hours on end. I can only take a 1.5 to 2 hours of play, before I lose interest... The only other item that they change is the graphic engine, whoopdie do, it's still a FPS, based on another one... That is also why Halo II and III (3 especially) just did NOT do it for me, at all... Now ODST? Really...
Same with all the Ace Combat series, the best one was the first PS2 version... The only original Aerial Combat game to rival the AC series was Hawx, which was great. While still basically the same, they mixed it up a bit, where you fly strike missions for the Ghost Team... That kept me interested, but any other one that comes out now, will just be lame, unless they make a Star Trek one...
In any case RFoM2 was pretty cool, you at least had to figure stuff out, not like the first one where it was just kill kill kill... This one had more originality to it... Don't like how it ended, the final FMV, but that just means another one for PS4.

do you play psp PS? resistance retribution was an excellent game one of the best 3rd person shooters on the system and graphics were mint.
as for goldeneye i'd wish they would release a port on the PSN & XBLA, there was some stuff about it being on XBLA but Nintendo & Microsoft couldn't agree on the financial terms.
