I use DirecTV, but I am getting less and less impressed every year.  They are cheaper than cable, but not by much really.  I left Dish Network, because I got a NOTE the promised no increases in price untill May oe March 2007.  Well, guess what?  It all went up BEFORE that date, a year before the date.  I told them to F'ff and I am leaving.  I even faxed them a copy of that notice, and their excuse was the date was a type-o or some stupid nonsense.  I said, well, because of a TYPE-O, I am Leaving-OH!  Kiss my ass, see you later...  So I went with DirecTV, and sold all my DISH equipment to some dude in Canada.  He aven came ALL THE WAY DOWN to pick it up!  A DishPlayer and some other receivers, a new dish, and some switches.  All I have left id my dual-lnb Dish from them.  My Tri-LNB DirecTV dish is right next to it...

NOW, Dish Network is offering some good packages, and receivers, and I am thinking of going back...  They got a LOT of HD content.  Cable says they have all tha Hd content, they kind of lie.  they do NOT have as many HD channels as either satellite company, I did the research.  I don't know how they can lie about that...

Satellite internet?  Too expensive for what you get.. Don't even bother with that nonsense...  With all the new services out there, you'd think they would drop prices to compete, and they haven't.  They have some cheap-ER prices, but the bandwidth is DSL speeds, for over 45.00 a month.  DSL is down to 14.99 a month in most areas now. So, for THAT 45.--+ a month price, I get 8Mbps with Cable.  That speed satellite woulds cost me about 80.00 or more a month...  Plus you got to BUY the equipment, and sometimes PAY for the install.  Satellite internet should be WAT FAST, and it isn't for the prices they have.
