PS3-Hacks.com / Question About Windows XP and/or Mac OSX for PS3

I was just wondering... is there some way to install windows (ironic enough since its owned by microsoft) or Mac OSX onto a Playstation 3? What if you have an installation disc for one of those OS's? That would be cool if it worked. It would be easier to just install an OS from a disk if someone like me had dial-up Anyway, thanks in advance for any help.

I saw a weird video on youtube that showed windows being emulated on a PS3. It took like 10 minutes to load up and was slower than shit. Not worth it in my book.

I havent seen anyone install windows or macosx but i heard that they have tried to install them but i think the have had no success.

neither OS is coded to run on a cell processor, even though OSX is powerpc based. Both MS and Apple dislike Sony.

*Sigh* Guess that means a long-a$$ download... though I did download gentoo (I think that's what it's called) I've only downloaded the minimal installer ISO so far and it was about 141mb. Could have sworn in the installation guide that an internet connection was required when installing it, is that true? OR should I just download a different Linux like Fedora Core?
