ok. im new to all this OS and linux stuff so...yea. I wanted to know how big of a partition i should make on my 60GB ps3. I want to put the YellowDogLinux on there, I think. I have no idea how to do it. Is there a better one out by now? Also, could someone give me a link to a site where I can download it for free. Thanx in advance.
Also, the 60GB ps3 doesn't fit memory stick pro duo's in it does it. I tried it and it didnt work. I think i have to get a regular pro.
Oh yea, I apologize if this stuff has already been explained, I looked and I wasn't able to find the info i needed

Dude to use a pro duo u you need the adapter that comes with a pro duo when you buy it from a store then it should work perfectly. Also for the YDL i think you are on your own but THere is one way GOOGLE it dude aint no one stopping you from googling it. ![]()

What you can do is download the manual on YDL, it's a PDF.
The pro duo can go into the ps3, the slot that says "pro" you put it in there, if it doesn't fit flip the mem stick over and try it again.

IT does fit you just need the adapter that comes with one when you buy them from a store or ask a friend they should have one, or anyone who has a psp, i have 4 adapters from the pro duos i bought. 2x 2gb, 1x 4gb, 1x 1gb.

Yea I know I just pop mine in the system, and pop it out. i have one adapter from a 1gb but I don't need it because it fits perfectly inside the ps3, you should try it sometime that's how I got my otheros stuff on it.
