no it takes 2.5" drives

yeah ano it takes 2.5 and you can can use a HDD case but i want it internal owell looks like ill just have to get a 2.5 anyone got any reccomendations.

yeah actually i found out you can put a 3.5 in your hard drive it just sticks out

Not true. you can buy a cable online and connect it internally But it will still stick out.
the 3.5" will be like the Internal 2.5" and far as i know 1TB is supported

AN ADAPTER ZOMG amazing. but seriously ur another forum tool. u dont need the adapter and u can jus hook up a sata cable to the connector inside the ps3. dont tell me im incorrect.

1. thats y u have a external power supply for the HDD
2. y wouldint anyone need 1tb on a MEDIA MACHINE. if it was int for media the only people that would need a HDD over 250GB would be pro's. and YES, the ps3 does support 1 TB hdd's. altho an update did stop one certain 1 tb HDD from working (well atleast someone came here claiming that)

ok i found out why and i think its cuz i used swiss knife 2 format it in fat32 and in the process i lost half my space..not good,it split my hdd in two instead of one big partition...

AFAIK FAT32 can go upto 8 terabytes.
