its tru spend an hour and half and watch the PS E3 presentation and ull see some cool stuff. like that game thats 256 people fps onlinegame called MAG. its the very last thing in the presentation so jus skip to the end to watch it

Lol i never cared much for ps2 games. The only games i would play would be bully. But i bet i could sell my 60gb console on ebay for more than 600 dollars

IS a 40gb ps3 (The new 80GB PS3 in the pack will have the same functionality as the outgoing 40GB version)
but
it will have a 80gb HDD and a DS3

I still have a 60GB with hardware. I am probably going to sell it, I don't even use the stupid thing except to stream and watch movies. I should be able to get 500 for it, for the backward compatibility, then buy a 399.99 whatever PS3....

I still have my PS2 but never really need backwards compatibility anyway. Had a Hong-Kong 80GB first and liked it but now I have a 40GB I prefer it without any chrome!

lol, I broke my first PS2 within warranty by forcing the drive shut in a mood with a game....probably FIFA!!! Second has had no problems and the problem with the first was me! My PS1 still works fine so it shocked me when they said only 10 years for a PS3, though it is a long time!

If they were TRULY trying to STOP last gen playing, then:

Why are they still making the PS2.
Why are new games STILL being made for the PS2.

They are NOT trying to stop last gen gaming, else they would be DONE, like with XB1; no more games for that, and no more support; and no more backward compatibility updates with 360.
