yeah upgrade hacks like downgrades will fly out after the first one

if homebrew comes out in the future

My friend you will eventually need to upgrade your PS3. It will get rid all of the bugs like my friend Ion saying.

Im moving to another room next time...although the upgrades werent released when my ps3 stopped working....yup.Upgrading good. ^_^

Thanks guys, I will be upgrading it tonight. Ion, did they give you store credit or tell you they would replce it? Do you have to line up again?

i have to agree with Ion.  the PS3 IS too good to even bother hacking.  i hacked the hell out of my PSP.  why?  because not only did an overwhelming majority of the games pretty much suck and have virtually no replay value, but they cost $40.  hacking was the only thing that was even remotely fun, and i couldn't find one game that i would have paid $40 for just to play on a little 3 inch screen.  i spent about 95% of my PSP time either hacking it or playing emulators.  meanwhile, i have somewhere around 50 games for my PS2 and never even considered hacking it.  why?  the games are great, and i enjoy not only playing them but collecting them as well.  for me its completely worth $50 to have the original DVD, case, manual, etc. of my favorite PS2 games, and it's going to be worth $60 for my favorite PS3 games.  i know that's not true for everyone, but it's my opinion and i'm sticking to it.

PS not upgrading completely cripples your PS3s online gaming capabilities too, so if you dont upgrade dont even bother plugging a network cable into it.

as for the GTHD demo, i'm downloading it right now, although im not entirely sure that its a demo.  i thought that the demo was japan only, and the "Gran Turismo HD Concept" thats in the store isnt listed under demos.  it is 625 mb though, so we will see.
