well hello,
tommorrow afternoon i will be installing linux on my 60gb ps3 FW version 1.3.
i had planned on using the guide i found in the forums, this uses Fedora Core 5.
which OS should i install? which is the easiest and most feature rich?
i read a mention of the yellowdog OS, i have no clue what this is. is this better than fedora core 5?
my last question pertains to partitioning. How large of a partition should i allow for Linux? like i said i have a 60gb ps3. should i allow 30gb/30gb or what?

Yellow dog is great, but no wireless support as yet, I would go for that, its very smooth.

I've installed Yellow Dog and it runs great. Its full of preinstalled apps and its built specifically for the ps3 so it uses all 8 processors, providing great performance.

I would use bit torrent, but i live at my university and they have it blocked.
