Did some research on cables and this seems to be the one for watching BR movies with DTS-HD Maser Audio 24 bit. They're pricey but i think it'll be worth it in the end. So long Soniq HDMI cable...so long.![]()

u can prolly get one much cheaper. monster are a rip i was in futureshop and saw two tv's playing a movie one was horrible one was nice and it said in the middle "can u see the MONSTER difference" i looked behind and one is hooked up with a monster hdmi cable the othere was a norm yellow composite cable. frakken bull

lol, it's a mrketing scheme I tell you.
there's more profit on monster because there's just so much margin.
Also, they know that there isn't really any significant difference between hdmi cables so that's why they went ahead with composite. Digital is digital after all.

I guess monster has more exposure due to celebrities boasting about how they use monster cables for their concerts and sound engineers use it in their studios. Whether that's a marketing scheme or their just telling the truth i'm not entirely sure. Well regardless i'm going to have to buy another HDMI cable for my hd tuner anyway and it's not going to be a $10 job from ebay.
So I'll have the best of both worlds. One average and one high end. We'll see the final outcome.

In my local Pc World they're selling a Monster HDMI Cable for £199 !
I bought 4 Five Metre Cables From Amazon For £20... The Signal Is digital so you cant really improve it.
Works Fine on my 42" Plasma and my 32" LCD....
