Cool Idea ..., but it might not be a fact. We will have to wait and see what Sony capable to do :![]()

You can use psp as a controller but not they way you guys think.
Its called remote play. PSP FW 3.0 and Up.
its like a live feed to your ps3 screen.
You can play music, Web Browser, view picture, and send message to friends and recieve messages from friend.
You can not use settings, play ps3, ps2 games when using remote play, nor can you open a chat room with video/mic usage.
Ill update this soon.

yeah and if you use 1.50 homebrew
like me you can now just download devhok 0.51 and emulate 3.2firmware to get remote play

Umm... No R2 or L2 (or usin them as triggers) plus only 1 analog stick. Plus doesnt anyone think this will lag it cause it has a lot to do already with 40P games.

Hopefuly they will make it so we can use our psps as controllers. I heard before that they were thinking about doing that. For now, you can use remote play by using devhook or installing Dark Alex's 3.02 OE-B. It gives you all the capabilities that devhook does. Just make sure you don't go to a bad site and brick yourself.

yeah a controller would be class with the psp, you ciould be in the other room and still play ur ps3

PSP can't bears PS3 games on it .. remember that PSP has only 333MHZ whereas the PS3 has 3GHZ, If you use PSP to play games like GBA or Nes they i'll still run slow imagin playing PS3 on PSP. loooooool

Yea but imagine a game like Madden if you use the PSP as a controller. You could have the main game on your TV and do all your playcalling on the PSP screen so the other person cant see your plays. Or maybe a flying game where the PSP screen could be used as a bomb sight. I think I read somewhere that one of the racing games coming out will use the PSP screen as a rear view mirror. The possibilities are endless............try to think of some more good scenarios. Maybe someone important will read it and put it in their game ![]()

true, but PS3 isn't only 3GHz, it's 8 SPEs each has 3.2GHz(one SPE is saved for the system) but 7 SPEs are still too much for the PSP

ONly if we WERE IN CONTROL OF SONY. All the things i and many of us would do. Like making the ultimate handheld system that would emulate all PREVIOUS SYStems. XBOX, SNES, NES, GBA/C, Og Systems, Gamecube, N64. It would deifnetly sell more thatn the ds lite and what the hell we could emulate the ds to. We would be kings among systems. How many of you guys agree with me.

haha good idea but that system will cost a arm and a leg cause to emulate xbox whew...
psp already has a hard time emulating n64...
maybe in the near future.. who knows?

PS3 games on a PSP, you gotta be joking? Its not worth playing a $120AUD PS3 game on some small ass screen. There isn't any R2/L2 and you need another analog stick. Even if it was possible, you would not get the full detailed graphics from a PS3 game if you were going to play it on your PSP. Come on guys!!! ![]()

there is a way to possible do it though, they need to transfer the game pre-rendered on the PS3, so the PS3 will do all the processes, then transfers it as a "video" to the PSP and the PSP sends the commands to the PS3
but the connection isn't that fast, so the video the PS3 needs to send shouldn't have a very good quality, to ensure syncing the game with the PSP......nothing's perfect lol

all it does it trasmit a video signal to the psp, and the psp sends the buttom you press back to the ps3, the only problem is, is that the psp is only 11mbps which is only about 1mb/s, and most videos on the ps3 play at over 2mb/s so there choppy. but streaming music works like a dream. i jus wish they could figure out a way to send a reasonable small signal to the psp so you can play ps3 games on it. as for motion sensor, the biggest game i would see that would be a problem would be that airplane game( forgot the name
) and resistance. but its not like it disables you from palying the game completely.
