hy i was wondering how i would uninstall ydl on my ps3. i formated my hard drive but the partition is still there. i was also wondering if it would be possible to use a sata to usb adapter to delete the linux partition. any help is greatly appreciated. if u need to contact me my email is : getmeadrinkbiatch@hotmail.com

Im trying to do the same thing i have tried full and quick format allowing all the ps3 os and still wont get rid of it, im pissed that it wont go away any help would be very helpful

why install it just to want to unistall it :S if its because it takes up 10GB then its not the end of the world get a bigger HDD plus i dont think TSS know how to unistall it because everywhere ive looked theres nothing on unistalling YDL even in the manuals :S

Have you tried selecting "Use all for PS3" when partioning?

You have to REFORMAT the drive, and select use ALL for PS3 for partitioning options. That is the only way to put the PS2 back to stock. USe the BACKUP option first, so you can get your game saves and other stuff backed up.
