PS3 Online?
what are the full details on this? does anyone know? from E3 i gather that sony will offer a service similar to the 360's silver subscription where gamers can build a friendslist, send/recieve PM's and see who is online. this was all mentioned to be free, but the thing i didnt understand was the playing online thing.
do the developers set a price i.e. konami want you to pay £3 a month to play PES etc?
Sony never mentioned a regular fee which covers everything like xbox gold accounts so can someone clear it up? will this be the case?

no, its true they did 
saying the entire service promised was xbox live silver and not only that, you look at the writeups for both and M$ have a point!
problem is, 3 years is a long time to have an established community wheras $ony probably put one together in no time for a press conference
I just fear EA setting online service prices

lol, when they make their own console and EA games are exclusive to that console, there will be no need for PS or xbox franchises- the world will have already ended

who knows, the entire thing might be free. same as with the psp. all games are free online. you never know. i guess we'll just have to wait until it comes out.

it probaly will be free cause the psp online was and the ps2 also there is a video on google were the head of sony says its free one sec ill find it an put a link on

PS3 online isnt at all like xbox live. For one, its completely free. Second, most of the friends stuff is done by the game companies.
