I was wondering if the TIFF exploit works with PS2 games. Because if it does, then maybe we could use it to start up Swap Magic and then swap it with a PS2 backup. That would be cool if that worked because then we could play backups without having to take apart our PS3's. ![]()

Well I guess there would be no point, as there is no Swap Magic Blu-Ray Disc. ![]()

I've tested on my PS3 (frm 1.80):
PS1(original) -> PS1(original) worked
PS1(original) -> PS1(backup) fail, freezed but don't work
PS2(original) -> PS2(backup) fail, freezed but don't work
I want to play PS2(backup) games. Please help

[b]Not from DISC.
When you eject the disc from the BR-D, the machine knows you ejected it. When you put a disc back in, it immediately checks the disc authenticity.
Also, (as in ADDITION) you can eject a PS3 game, and it will play for about 1 and a half minutes, then tell you to put the disc back in. It has to be an original, else it doesn't work.
You will not play PS2 backups from disc, and you MUST also have a PS3 that still has BwC, and that had been removed on all new models, and that started with the 80GB units. There is supposed to be an HDD loader for PS2 games, but is said to only be working on JAP consoles. There is no new news on it either.
