Yo,when you put the memory stick, flash drive or card or what you are using to put that media into your ps3 make sure you press triangle and click on display all when you see the Icon and you will be able to browse the files in it,then see if you can play it and then try to copy it that way..happens with me when I use .mp4 files that didnt came from my psp.

lol no problem, thats what we are here for and hopefully a firmware update will fix this bug.
btw we do have a built in search engine, heres a link. http://www.ps3-hacks.com/forums/search.php
You will need that before you start a topic just in case it has already been answered. So now next time somebody has your problem they will be able to find the solution to it easily. ![]()

You need to place your file in X:\VIDEO folder. (X = memory stick drive).
Also, are you sure your videos work? A couple of videos I've downloaded in .mp4 give me an error. I'm guessing your downloading, that's why.

Not all MP4s are compatible, just cause it says mp4 doesn't mean the PS3 is going to play it. Try playing it through the "java based media sever" through the "transcoded" folder. Im assuming you have a pc and they both use the same router.
