Yeah i bought some part from ebay. Its the original wifi for 60gb. but i have a 20gb ps3. Do you guys think it is possible to be detected by a 20gb this wifi after i installed it? do the 60 and the 20 has the same firmware? ....on the network setup, do you guys think that the option of wireless lan will going to appear as an option on 20gb? coz i know it doesnt have the option, only wired LAN. Thanks... ill post the DIY here when i finally decided to do the project . peace out!

The question is, does the Mainboard have the PLUG-IN header for the WiFi part, and, yeah, will the firmware allow the use of it... Not sure, but I guess you'll know pretty soon, huh?

we will see...there should be a switch for that. i have all the wirings needed for wifi. 'hope this will be a success. i dont really care about voiding the warranty of my $300 ps3 (ebayyee).

yeah i got it from ebay. the big store from ebay said they are selling it as is no video output. i guess they dont know how to reset video settings thats why they thought it was defective. lol

the 20gb do not have a wifi. i want to modfy it and make it better. i want to modify the casing too. i want to put a carbon fiber parts on it and extra fan plus a 160 gb SATA hard drive. i also want to put a modified card reader. and also red LED lights.

Hmm... Sorry didn't know bastard counts as really bad language. I mean TV series like Family guy say it all the time cos its allowed since it's not counted as very bad language. They use words like crap, damn, the 'b' word I just use and some other minor cursing.

i got the parts, im not in the mood to do it yet. besides, im waiting for my 100gb sata hd that i bought for 39 bucks in ebay. ill do everything at the same time. and im kinda lazy right now... in my room...sleep all day...ahhh this is life. :-)

ewww i wouldnt buy anything off ebay that has to do with hard drive space( hard drives. memory cards, etc.) chances are really good you can get a fake with less space than what your supposed to get...

Hard drives are perfectly fine on Ebay, it should be memory cards you're worried about. The problem only happens with memory cards because they are so small and it is hard to see if it a fake or not.

However, I bought a 2GB PRO DUO on Ebay, and it is in perfect shape. So it's your call.

As far as the language goes, I am more concerned with the F'Bombs, and personal attacks on users, USING profanity. This is GREG's site, and I can't turn it into a dictatorship when it comes to bad language. Just watch how you use words like "Bastard" and so on, if you were to CALL a user here that, as an attack, then you would be wrong.

There is no need to go WAY overboard with the censorship on language, when words like that are used on TV every day. Still, if everyone starts talking like that, then it looks immature and like everyone can't present their thoughts in a rational manner. Just keep it AT A MINIMUM like the rules state, and just don't throw them around every post or thread....
